PRODUCT:
“Felici” is producing a special nutrient-rich musli – GRACI, which has been developed in cooperation with the LBTU. The composition of Musli “Graci” can be called exclusive: it contains not only many of the ingredients of common musli, but also triticale, nude-grad barley, spelta, linseed, blackcurrants, pumpkins and topinambience. It is also unique to recycle all ingredients that help the product to be particularly valuable –musli contains sprouted and crushed full grasses, plastered and myrronised full grasses, and dried and crushed fruit.
IDEA:
After establishing the family, entrepreneur Alise Balgalve began to become more interested in healthy food. Understanding the importance of procesed products so that they can maintain their nutritional value so that food is functional, dietary, easy to cook, tasty and long-lasting, she decided to focus on musli. Although the shops offer a lot of different mixes with the name of Musli, it was clear to the Alise that it was actually a free niche, therefore active work on product development started.
COOPERATION:
LBTU Faculty of Food Technology and the LBTU Innovation and Tehnology Transfer Centre found optimal solutions for developing recipes, testing taste nuances, conducting analyses, and consulting on the most appropriate packaging solutions during storage. Alise acknowledges that successful cooperation has contributed significantly to the production of a series of products. Cooperation with LBTU specialists is still continuing.
