Division of Agronomic analysis
The Division of Agronomic analysis started its activities in 1995 as a scientific laboratory for the Agronomic Analysis of the LBTU and has been accredited since 1999. The scope of the Laboratory is physical and physical-chemical testing of animal feed and soil fertilizers. Since 2002 testing has been performed in accordance with standard LVS EN ISO/IEC 17025.
The quality of test results is guaranteed by:
- management system according to LVS EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 standard;
- highly qualified personnel;
- use of recognized methodologies (ISO, ГОСТ, EBC) for testing of samples;
- use of the progressive equipment (AAS, HPLC, GC, analyzer of the amino acids, ICP-OES).
Testing accreditation certificate No.LATAK-T-168-06-99-A.
The division provides:
The division of agronomic analysis offers its customers to identify a variety of physicochemical parameters in animal feed, both by chemical methods and by NIR (close-infrared) spectrometer.
Physical and physico-chemical testing of animal feed:
- Determination of total dry matter content;
- Determination of moisture and volatile compounds;
- Determination of nitrogen and protein content;
- Determination of the fiber content;
- Determination of neutral washed fiber fraction (NDF) content;
- Determination of the content of the acid-washed fiber fraction (ADF);
- Determination of fat content;
- Determination of phosphorus content;
- Determination of total ash content;
- Determination of mineral content (Ca, Mg, Na, K, etc.);
- Determination of the reaction (pH);
- Determination of volatile organic acids (acetic acid, butyric acid, lactic acid);
- Determination of starch content;
- Analyzing with NIR system (express method) (crude protein, fiber, total ash, ADF, NEL, NDF, Ca, P)
Physical and physico-chemical testing of soil fertilizers (digestates, manure, fermenters, etc.):
- Determination of total dry matter content;
- Determination of the reaction (pH);
- Determination of phosphorus content;
- Determination of calcium, magnesium, potassium content;
- Determination of nitrogen content.
The Division of agronomic analysis recommends that its customers complete the sampling protocol before sending the sample and attach it to the sample.
