ASOIU Delegation Visits Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies
On November 28, the delegation from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), led by its rector, Ph.D. Vazeh Asgarov, visited the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU). The delegation also included Ph.D. Latifa Nasibova, Director of the Azerbaijan-French University; Ph.D. Rafiq Aliyev, Director of the Warwick Dual Degree Program; Orxan Kerimzade, Renewable Energy Project Manager; Baxtiyar Musayev, First Secretary; and Dilara Malikova, a second-year student at LBTU’s VET Faculty.
The purpose of the visit was to gain insights into LBTU's academic environment, research resources, and infrastructure, as well as to discuss opportunities for closer collaboration in higher education, science, and innovation. The visit served as an important step in strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Latvia. During the discussions, key areas were identified for joint research, student exchanges, and the development of innovations, contributing to the advancement of higher education and science in both countries.
