The study process at LLU will be organized partly remotely (information added 27.10.)
In order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 among LLU students and employees and to take care of a safe study and work environment, from October 26 to December 31 in all LLU study programs face-to-face lectures will be replaced by online lectures in LLU e-learning system Moodle. The decision to refuse face-to-face lectures was made in order to reduce the gathering of students in large groups and to comply with the amendments on epidemiological safety approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on October 23 un 27.
Online lectures will take place every day according to the current schedule. In turn, the acquisition of the practical part of the studies will take place in person, in strict compliance with the epidemiological safety requirements. Depending on the specifics of the study program, the deans of the faculties and the directors of the study programs will also have the right to decide on the organization of all or part of the practical part for a remotely some period of time.
We ask students to regularly check the news in the LLU e-learning system Moodle.
The university will be open to students during this period, and its premises will be able to be used for study purposes, as before. However, we strongly advise you to be careful - wear mouth and nose covers and observe a distance of 2 m.
Although the prevalence of Covid-19 has not been observed among LLU students and staff, we urge everyone to be responsible, to take care of their own health and the health of those around them, and to follow the precautions set by the state.
