Over 70 Ukrainian women learn digital marketing skills in Latvia and Estonia
More than 70 women who immigrated from Ukraine have completed training to enhance their digital skills. The project "Women Online – Digital Marketing Training for Immigrant Women from Ukraine in Latvia and Estonia" successfully concluded with the aim of supporting Ukrainian female immigrants in Latvia and Estonia. The project provided a series of training cycles designed to help participants acquire digital marketing skills, facilitating their integration into the job market, while also offering the opportunity to develop their own businesses or refine business ideas.
Ukrainian immigrant women often face greater challenges than other social groups due to a higher risk of economic exclusion and limited opportunities to compete in the labor market. The project offered both theoretical and practical support to help these women enhance their skills and better understand the principles of business management.
During the project, both online sessions and in-person seminars were held, where participants:
- Attended a masterclass on using the Etsy.com platform — one of the largest online marketplaces for handmade and individual products today.
- Learned how to create digital advertising sites, set up and install tracking codes, as well as methods for monitoring customer engagement and sales performance efficiency.
- Participated in sessions on creating successful blogs and explored the nuances of content creation for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Improved the appeal of their websites and Facebook pages by learning visual design elements under the guidance of professional photographers and bloggers.
The training also included personal stories and practical examples of working with clients, emphasizing successful collaboration strategies and key benefits.
Participants in the project acknowledged that they gained valuable skills and knowledge that will help them successfully implement business ideas and develop entrepreneurship. At the conclusion of the training, all participants received certification of completion, which they can include for formal educational recognition.
